Please send an email to sales@waytec.com with the subject "request password" and Include your Name, Company Name, and contact information in the body of the message. Someone at Waytec will then send you a return email with your assigned user name and password

 

If you want to use Internet Explorer, Just Click Here and enter your password.

It is recommended that you use a program made specifically for FTP'ing files.

Good shareware FTP programs are available for download from the Web.

You may also use your command line FTP program ..

For example if you have Windows:
Go to the command prompt
type:

1. ftp ftp.waytec.com <this starts the ftp program>
2. ftp <your_assigned_user_name>
3. <your_assigned_password>
4. binary <this ensures that the data comes across without errors>
5. send c:\myfile.zip <this actually sends the data to us>
6. bye <this stops the ftp program>

Where C:\MYFILE.ZIP is the file on your computer that you want to send to us.

Also note that most variations of UNIX will work in a similar fashion.
When your files are uploaded to our primary ftp site, our data specialist is automatically notified and places your upload into the queue for immediate processing.

What type of information (data) should I send to Waytec ?

All data should be in ASCII and Zipped together into a single file.

• Artwork: ODB ++,Gerber 274X files (also called imbedded aperture files)
• Drill: Excellon format using the same data precision as your artwork files.
• NET LIST: IPC D356 Netlist Format.
• Blueprint Drawing:ODB++,Postscript,DXF,DWG, Gerber 274X or HPGL
• General Information: A text file called readme.txt that includes the following:
  • Your Name
  • Company Name
  • Purchase Order Number
  • Part Number and Revision
  • Telephone Number
  • Fax Number
  • Email Address
  • Any special instructions or comments
